Some businesses start with a business plan. Not going to lie...we didn't.
GigLife started with more than 25 years of road cases, production meetings, headset chatter, theatre blacks, festival dust, late-night pack-downs, missing Sharpies and the occasional desperate search for a roll of gaffer tape five minutes before doors.
In other words, we didn't discover the entertainment industry because we thought it looked like a good market.
It's our industry. It's what we know. It's what we do. And, quite frankly, we're a little bit obsessed with it.
GigLife was founded by an entertainment industry professional with more than 25 years of hands-on experience working behind the scenes across theatre, concerts, festivals, live events and touring productions.
That career has included everything from stage management and production management to technical production, event delivery and design — working alongside the crews, technicians, venues, artists, suppliers and production teams who somehow turn empty rooms, paddocks, theatres and festival sites into something extraordinary.
So when we say:

This isn't a slogan cooked up in a marketing meeting.
